Introduction:
It has been a long time since my last blog post and I must admit I feel disheartened about the lack of updates on my site since September 2022. Instead of hiding away, I’ve decided to get straight to the point. Life’s been a mixture of personal development, relationships, and new challenges. In this blog, I’ll share the reasons behind my absence and the exciting changes that lie ahead.
Embracing Life’s Twists and Turns:
Firstly, life took me on a journey of personal growth, focusing on becoming better in business and personally. I even found myself in a relationship that temporarily shifted my priorities away from blogging and business. Although it didn’t work out as planned, I learned valuable lessons along the way. My personal growth journey has also made me discover the true value of friendships.
In January 2023, I started a Learning and Development Consultant apprenticeship, equivalent to a CIPD level 5 diploma, while juggling my full-time job. The journey has been both rewarding and challenging, as I underestimated the time required for study and assignments. Nevertheless, I’m committed to seeing it through and gaining new insights.
Dealing with Self-Doubt:
At times, I had self-doubt and lacked confidence in my abilities. The decline in readers and views left me demotivated. To overcome this, I experimented with new ideas, such as creating eczema digital trackers and opening an Etsy store. This allowed me to explore my creative side.
Reviving My Passion for Blogging:
Now, after a period of exploration and self-reflection, I’ve decided to return to blogging with a newfound sense of purpose, vision and mission. The future is uncertain, but I am excited about the possibilities. Alongside my return, I plan to implement changes on my website to enhance the reader experience.
Updating the Eczema Journey:
Speaking of changes, I’ve noticed changes in the eczema and skin industry since my first blog post in 2018. I’ll provide an update on my eczema journey, sharing how I’ve managed to keep it under control combined with a busy lifestyle. I will also provide an additional update on my worst experiences as I’m able to provide a different perspective. My recent visit to the dermatologist following a three year gap due to the pandemic wasn’t as fantastic as I had hoped, but I remain optimistic about managing it effectively.
Personal Growth and Development:
Over the past year and a half, I’ve invested time in self-improvement. I’ve engaged in coaching, networking, and surrounded myself with like-minded individuals. Additionally, weekly therapy sessions have allowed me to delve into my past, unearthing the roots of certain behaviours and thought patterns. This experience has been positive as well as challenging.
Embracing the Future:
As I venture back into the world of blogging, I’m both eager and nervous. Balancing this with other commitments will be a challenge, but I’m ready to try again. I’ve brainstormed numerous topics that I believe will not only benefit me but also resonate with and help others.
A Return to the Basics:
Before delving into various topics, I’ve decided to revisit the basics, considering the changes in statistics and trends. This approach will help me reconnect with my audience and build a strong foundation for future discussions.
Conclusion:
The journey hasn’t always been smooth, but I’m excited about this new chapter of my blogging adventure. With life’s twists and turns, personal growth, and a fresh perspective on my eczema journey, I’m confident that my future posts will be insightful and inspiring. Together, we’ll explore valuable insights and navigate the evolving landscape of life and wellness. Let’s embrace the changes and make this journey one to remember.
Stay blessed
